Christmas Week

We had a very exciting first Christmas for Charlie. Sunday we hung with the Kiser family and Charlie met his brand new cousin (ten days old) Trent. He was sure cute! On Christmas Eve Charlie worked at the coffee stand with his Grandma Mary for a little while and then was babysat by Great Aunt Patty. She gave him an entire roll to chew on and we think she snuck him some whipped cream and shortbread cookie. As you can imagine, he loves it at Aunt Patty's. He also played with his Grandma Sue and her family (Hi Aunt Paula, Nora and Jean!) on Christmas Eve and then we went to the McFarlane family Christmas. Charlie met his great uncle's for the first time and played with his Auntie Malia. The most exciting part of Christmas Eve though was we were there to see Brett's best friend get engaged!! Jake asked Kip to marry him at a bonfire with a beautiful, enormous ring! Christmas day was very exciting. Charlie got more books, toys and clothes then he has ever seen. He loves all his new stuff. Thanks everybody! We hung out at Grandma Sue's and Grandma Mary's house that day and ate lots of food. The fun continued the day after Christmas. Charlie got to play with his cousin Ty, his great aunties, and see his Grandpa Don again. Other fun things Charlie got to do this week - crawl all over Aunt Whitney's broken foot, see Aunt Lizzy from California, suck on Grandpa's dirty watch, eat key lime pie (bad aunties!) and play with his favorite new discovery, a snow globe! As you can tell from the pictures, it was a good Christmas. Thank you Jesus for such wonderful family and friends but mostly for being born and always being so faithful.
