A week in the life of us!

Saturday - We were finally feeling healthy again and started venturing out of the house. We had a fun lunch of Croque Monsiuer's at the Heaviland's (thanks Jessie!) and then went to a party for Sadie's birthday. We won't say how old she is because we are getting old. Charlie got really wild and ended up sitting around drinking beer in his underwear and playing cards. Just kidding about the beer, but he did play a little poker.
Sunday - Not much to write home about but we did go to church and Target! Woo hoo!
Monday - Once again no pics but we visited Coach at the Cancer Care Alliance and went to the Mars Hill all church meeting. And we took a nap - all three of us! That was nice!

Tuesday - We went swimming at the Mountlake Terrace pool. Charlie had so much fun splashing around and chasing a big purple ball around the lazy river. We finally took him out after his teeth (all four of them) started to chatter. We also went to Community Group and Charlie got to play with his buddies.
Wednesday - The weather almost stifled our plans for a hike at Cougar Mountain but we braved the rain and ended up getting a little sunshine! You would have been really proud of Emilie for actually hiking. Her shoes even got dirty and she didn't complain once! After a long day of hiking (okay, it was really just an hour) we met the Long's and Heaviland's in West Seattle for some grub at Elliott Bay and cupcakes at Cupcake Royale (see the pics of the boys below).

Thursday - We got up early and packed up for a super fun day with Charlie's buddies (and his mama's) in the tulip fields. We had a yummy breakfast at Calico Cupboard and then got some good pics in the fields. Charlie though the mud was delicious and had to ride home naked because he got himself (and his mom) so dirty! Eva is the cute little girl with Charlie in the pic. It is so rare that Charlie gets to play with a girl that we couldn't miss the opportunity to post the adorable pic. We headed to Anacortes from the tulip fields which is where we are at now.

Come back soon for more pics of our latest adventures. We are currently visiting Charlie's grandparents in Anacortes so hopefully we will have good pics from our trip!

The picture of Charlie and Eva might be the cutest thing I have ever seen. He's quite the ladies man, I think he is trying to put the moves on her!
