Family Fun

Our week of family fun in Anacortes started last Friday on a not so fun note. All the Kiser kids were together for Coach's funeral. It was very sad and we miss her so much. The hardest part is that we know she would have wanted to be there with all of us. She couldn't stand to not be there when everybody got together. Saturday night was a good break from all the sadness of the funeral services on Friday night and Saturday so Brett & Em got dressed up and went to Brett's ten year reunion. Here is Brett and some of his best buddies from high school, Ben and Jake. Jake loves him (a lot) as you can tell from the picture. While Mom & Dad were at the reunion, Charlie hung with Grandma Mary's entire family and got some special attention from his cousin Myles. Charlie had such a blast with his Grandpa. He did all kind of grown up things, like mow the lawn. His cousin Ty is getting so grown up. He gave Charlie a ride around in the wagon, which is Charlie's very favorite activity at Grandma & Grandpa's. Aren't they cute together? If they would only stay still. Charlie's second favorite activity was playing in the sprinkler. Here he was riding his very cool, pink bike through it! Boy, does this kiddo love water!
What is his third favorite activity you might ask? Bathing in the laundry room sink! He fell in the bubbles this time and thought it was hilarious. It was hot and he was really happiest without clothes. Isn't his little bum so cute? Being naked makes it easy to get wet so Charlie hopped in the hot tub with a little help from Uncle Tommy and Aunt Kath. At the end of the week, the fun was over and Uncle Tommy and his fam had to go back to Texas. Before they went, however, we met in Seattle and got one last dinner at Chinook's and hung out on the docks for a little bit. Charlie would have jumped in had we let him. Cousin Drew and Mark posed with us in the picture below.
