Catching up...

We have been so busy playing outside and enjoying the summer that I haven't had any time to get the pictures out of my camera. Finally, at 11pm on a Friday night I am getting a chance to update you on the kids.

Charlie started sleeping in his big boy bed about two weeks ago. It has been a fairly seamless transition and he just adores his new quilt that Mama Sue made him. Here he is showing it off. That means the crib turned into a girly crib for Della Grace. She actually is still sleeping in the living room but she naps in her crib. Charlie wanted to make one last visit to his crib and cuddle his sissy. I wish this picture wasn't randomly uploading sideways because it is so cute. Carter and Charlie really are good friends and just love each other when they aren't abusing each other. I thought this pic perfectly captured their friendship. If you look closely they are literally covered in ketchup and dirt. Charlie has become quite an animal lover, he especially loved this goat at Forest Park in Everett. We had our first real emergency when Charlie grabbed my curling iron. Here he is showing off his bandage he got when we rushed him to the Dr. who diagnosed him with second degree burns. He bounced back after a Happy Meal and some red licorice. We got a surprise visit from Cousin Aly. Here she is teaching Della about Facebook.
Della has the funnest smile. And her head is like 1/2 of her body.
Another testament to Carter and Charlie's friendship. Here they are helping each other around the playground.
Charlie driving a tractor at the zoo. We bought a pass this year and have gotten a lot of use out of it. The tractor is his favorite part of the zoo.
We had fun at Logan park with the Dickinson's.
Della just swinging in the hammock being sweet.

Love the pic of Charlie and the goat, so cute! Don't worry, Chris had an unfortunate run-in with a curling iron when he was about two, I think. He still talks about it.. :)
