This was a crazy week! It was back to reality as we stopped having visitors on a daily basis and we had to start cooking for ourselves again. Thank you to our wonderful friends who brought us meals for four weeks. You are amazing! My lovely friend Heather did send us pizza one night and Aunt Whitney visited for an afternoon so we weren't totally on our own, but close.
The beginning of the week started out sunny and Dad was home from work for a couple days so we went to Carkeek Park where Charlie threw rocks in the water and stole other kids toys from the creek. 
Tuesday was free Ben & Jerry's day, one of our favorite days of the year. Charlie seriously enjoyed his, can you tell by the determined look on his face?
Things are a little hectic when Dad is at work. As you can see from this pic, the kids barely (if at all) get dressed and Charlie attempted to have his first wrestling match with his sister.
Our little pumpkin head, as Charlie calls her, is a smiley little girl.
So is her brother. I know he is almost two, but doesn't he still have the sweetest baby face?
I love this picture. You can just see the sibling love, and the fear in Della's eyes.
Speaking of eyes, you may ask, are her eyes really that big? Yes, she got those from her mama. We are hoping she grows into them so she doesn't look like a lemur her whole life.

Today the sun reappeared and we tried out a new park in our hood. At least it is new to us. It is nestled in between Lake City's finest apartment buildings and brings out quite an interesting crowd. We will not likely be visiting it again. Although, Charlie thought this climbing wall was pretty awesome.

Looks like you have been having fun! Della is adorable and not so lemur like :) And Charlie is so funny with all his funny faces!
